Vestival is an annual festival celebrating the arts and heritage of South Knoxville.
It started 20+ years ago at the Candoro Marble grounds in the Vestal neighborhood and has expanded to promote all different communities in the across-the-bridge environs of what old-timers referred to as “South America”!
Vestival takes place the Saturday of Mother’s Day weekend, so this year it will be on May 11, 2024 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., once again at the Candoro Marble property at the intersection of Maryville Pike and Candora Avenue (4450 Candora Ave.), less than a mile from Spark.
There will be music and other entertainment, children’s activities, food vendors, and booths featuring crafters and nonprofits.
Vestival will happen rain or shine!
Spark will be there to talk to attendees and provide literature about our mission and programs. We will also offer cold water bottles (for a small donation) to beat the heat! Please come by and talk to us. We’ll be there from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
